It will be the first meeting between the two presidents since Trump took office. Trump will host Xi next Thursday and Friday, 6 and 7 April, at his Mar-a-Lago retreat in Florida. Both the White House and China’s Foreign Ministry have confirmed the meeting would cover trade relationships between two countries, while the US has also said issues relating to the South China Sea, Taiwan and North Korea are going to be discussed.
